To all of our customers and friends of the Bettyhill Hotel.

We are delighted to announce the reopening of the Bettyhill Hotel from the 15th July 2020.

We understand this may not be a popular decision by some however the safety of our customers, staff and local community are our primary concern. We assure you that we will be strictly adhering to Covid-19 related guidance provided by local authorities to operate as safely as possible. Regular training will be provided to staff with regards to new health and hygiene related procedures and their responsibility to guests and colleagues. We ask our customers to respect social distancing measures we put in place and to be considerate of others around them.

Initially, we will operate on reduced hours from 1500hrs – 2200hrs. Food will be served everyday between 5pm-8:30pm. Our menu can be found here We have closed a number of bedrooms within the hotel until we are confident we can increase capacity safely.

To help with social distancing, non-resident parties are to be no larger than four and we will be offering table service only. A table will be reserved for all our residents, however pre-booking a table is advised for non-residents to avoid disappointment.

We ask for your patience upon re-opening whilst we get accustomed with new procedures that will be in place. We hope to welcome you back very soon!

The privately owned Bettyhill Hotel is located centrally on the north Scottish Coast. A beautiful setting and historical location offer a touch of paradise unspoiled by time with rooms, restaurants and bar offering superb views of the surrounding mountains and sea.


Bettyhill Hotel started life in 1819, though it has grown steadily since. Its location is superb, giving magnificent views to the north-west over Torrisdale Bay.


Centrally located in Bettyhill, the Bettyhill Hotel is ideal for touring across the rural Highlands of Scotland. Furthermore the area is rich in things to see and do including golf breaks, salmon fishing on the River Naver, walking and cycling, with castles and historic places a plenty. 


The Bettyhill Hotel is ideally located on the North Coast 500 route (NC500), which makes it a perfect stop-off point while exploring the region.

The North Coast 500 (NC500) is Scotland’s answer to the legendary Route 66 and prolific Wild Atlantic Way. Measuring at just over 500 miles, this meandering route snakes along the Highland’s rugged coastline bringing together ancient castles, serene lochs and glistening beaches.
